Start with your numbers.
The example calculates when this page loads.
How the calculation works
Estimated revenue = pageviews / 1,000 × page RPM. Amount after entered expenses = estimated revenue - operating expenses.
A calculation you can check.
At 50,000 pageviews and an assumed $10 page RPM, the model produces $500 in monthly advertising revenue. After $100 in entered expenses, $400 remains before taxes and any omitted costs.
When to use this calculator
Use this ad revenue calculator to compare traffic and monetization assumptions. Enter pageviews, not unique visitors or sessions. Page RPM represents publisher revenue per thousand pageviews. If you have your own reporting history, use a comparable period and audience mix. Test a lower-RPM scenario as well as your main assumption to understand how sensitive the budget is to ad demand.
Assumptions and limits
The sample RPM is illustrative, not a Google AdSense benchmark or a quoted rate. Geography, audience, seasonality, consent, ad availability, and traffic quality can change results. Do not substitute advertiser CPM for page RPM: impressions and pageviews are different denominators. Approval and traffic do not guarantee a particular level of earnings.
Before you use the result.
Is page RPM the same as CPM?
No. Page RPM expresses publisher revenue per thousand pageviews. CPM usually describes cost per thousand ad impressions, and a page can contain multiple impressions.
Does this predict AdSense earnings?
No. It multiplies your assumptions. Use actual account reports to evaluate performance once monetization is active.
Should I enter visitors or pageviews?
Enter pageviews. A visitor may generate several pageviews, so substituting visitor counts changes the meaning of the calculation.
